The Department of Homeland Security has designated the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM as a "promising" candidate for SAFETY Act approval
CoreCheck Ltd. recently submitted the pre-application for coverage under the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies (SAFETY) Act of 2002.
CoreCheck Ltd. received notice from the Department of Homeland Security indicating that the likelihood of the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM being designated as a "Qualified Anti-terrorism Technology" is promising. This is the highest designation possible in the pre-application stage.
"The Department completed its review of your SAFETY Act Pre-Application and, based exclusively on the limited information elicited by the Pre-Application, determined that the likelihood of your CoreCheck Security SuiteTM being Designated a ‘Qualified Anti-terrorism Technology’ by the Department is promising."

CoreCheckTM installs the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM at a major Category X airport
In early February, CoreCheckTM completed the installation of the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM in a major U.S. Category X airport. The airport has been using the iQ 1000TM to efficiently compare their personnel data against various watch lists distributed by the government.
The installation of the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM was warmly received by the airport. The airport views the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM as a valuable security tool and its personnel have indicated:

Since the initial installation, various other entities have approached CoreCheck Ltd. regarding plans to integrate the iQ 1000TM into their existing security models.
CoreCheckTM attends annual ASIS conference in Dallas, TX
CoreCheck Ltd. was in attendance at the 50th annual ASIS International convention in Dallas, Texas. ASIS, the largest organization dedicated to the security profession, had over 800 vendors and 15,000 attendees involved in the education, and display of new and existing security products. CoreCheckTM met outside of the convention with numerous vendors and potential customers about the implementation of the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM within their organizations.
As a result of the convention, several manufacturers and integrators expressed an interest in incorporating and distributing the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM within their product line offerings.
CoreCheckTM meets with Massachusetts Representative George Peterson to discuss Port Authority requirements
On August 08, 2004, CoreCheck Ltd. met with Representative George Peterson Jr., an Assistant Minority Leader in the Massachusetts legislature. Rep. Peterson was particularly interested in how the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM enables port authorities to effectively comply with requirements and regulations specific to their industry.
Rep. Peterson has sent a letter of introduction regarding the CoreCheck Security SuiteTM, to the Massachusetts Secretary of Public Safety and CEO of the Massachusetts Port Authority.
